Kidventure Summer Camp offers a wide range of activities, including sports, art projects, daily awards and challenges, special snack activities, and team challenges. Campers take part in Sensory Arts, Story Time, Music & Movement, Water Play, Team Games, STEM and STEAM projects, Sports & Recreation, Creative Arts, Leadership Training, Adventure Challenges, Service Projects, and Peer Mentoring. For younger Discoverers, a typical day includes Arrival & Opening Ceremony at 8:00 AM, Learning Centers & Music at 9:30 AM, Outdoor Exploration at 10:30 AM, Lunch & Chill Time at 12:00 PM, Arts & Sensory Play at 1:30 PM, and a Closing Ceremony & Wrap-Up at 3:00 PM. Explorers follow a schedule with Arrival & Opening Ceremony at 8:00 AM, a Morning Adventure Block at 9:30 AM, Specialty Activities at 10:30 AM, Lunch & Free Time at 12:00 PM, an Afternoon Exploration Block at 1:30 PM, and a Closing Ceremony & Pickup at 3:00 PM. LEADS campers have Arrival & Opening Ceremony at 8:00 AM, a Morning Adventure Block at 9:30 AM, Outdoor Exploration at 10:30 AM, Lunch & Rest at 12:00 PM, an Afternoon Leadership Block at 1:30 PM, and a Closing Ceremony & Pick Up at 3:00 PM. Kidventure Summer Camp provides easy pickup and drop off, with drop-off available at 8:00 or 9:00 and pickup at 3:30 or 6:00, and lunch and a light snack are provided during the day.
Kidventure began in 1994 as an outgrowth of a summer program at Biron Gymnastics in West Houston and has operated for over 30 years, including its upcoming 32nd season.
