South Texas Youth Soccer offers soccer programs that include league play, Fall Championships, Spring Cups, and events such as the South Texas Cup, Directors Cup, Presidents Cup, and State Cup. The program also runs one-day outreach events that bring soccer to underserved areas and offers an Olympic Development Program for high-performing players. In addition to on-field play, South Texas Youth Soccer includes esports through the South Texas Showdown 2022 and provides coaching education through courses such as Grassroots 9v9 and 11v11 and ODP Pool Training.

South Texas Youth Soccer is an affiliate of US Youth Soccer and US Soccer. Through 29 member associations, it represents more than 225 clubs and 100,000 members across its region, from El Paso to Beaumont and Temple to Brownsville.
