About

Country Home Learning Center offers a wide range of activities, including indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a waterpark and splash deck, gym activities in a full-sized gym, soccer on a soccer field, and putt-putt golf. Children participate in computer lab activities to learn basic computer skills, practice hand-eye coordination, and strengthen math and language skills, as well as cooking, creating, and eating in a 1950’s style soda shop where birthday and special occasion celebrations also take place. The program includes performing in seasonal plays, singing, experimenting with a variety of musical instruments, field trips, summer camp, Adventure Quest, and interacting with goats.

• Ages: 0–13 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, year-round, with full week, M–W–F, and T–Th options

Since 1982, Country Home Learning Center has been locally owned and operated and has offered child care and early childhood education in San Antonio, Texas and Austin, Texas. Country Home Learning Center offers weekday services for infants and toddlers, preschool and kindergarten programs, and after-school and summer care for youth up to age 13. The program includes a Cognia and Texas Rising Star fully accredited educational program, age-divided classes with uncommonly small class groups, and teacher-to-child ratios that are lower than Texas state licensing standards at every age. Facilities include two Giant Adventure Jungle Indoor Playgrounds, three heavily wooded outdoor playgrounds, a kid-friendly waterpark and splash deck, a full-sized gym, a soccer field, a custom-designed putt-putt golf course, a computer and iPad lab, a 1950’s style soda shop, and a movie theater and theater arts center.

Country Home Learning Center provides nutritious, home-cooked morning snack, typically hot lunch, and afternoon snack prepared at the Center and served in each classroom, with an optional breakfast program available. Menus are posted monthly, and copies are available from the Director. Parents are welcome to drop by and join their child for lunch when their schedule permits and are asked to let the Center know by 10:00 a.m. so they can be included in lunch plans. The program uses digital daily reports and interactive classroom tools as part of its technology integrations.

Tours take about 30 minutes and can be scheduled between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, or 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm. One parent described the center as having “tons of fun activities for all the kids, no matter their age,” and several families mentioned summer camp, Adventure Quest, and the waterpark area as favorite parts of their children’s experience. Multiple testimonials mention friendly and welcoming staff, engaging activities, and children enjoying field trips, art in the halls and classrooms, and interactions with goats.
