Studio Art House offers art classes, camps, workshops, parties, and gallery exhibits, including options such as Preschool Art, Drawing & Painting for K–2nd and 3rd–5th grades, Homeschool Art, Tween Art, Teen Art, Adult Art, and Extra Special Art. Students work in small classes and explore a wide range of art mediums, including watercolor, acrylic paints, charcoal, pencil, pastels, oils, and sculpting clay, while studying different art styles, techniques, artists, and art movements throughout history. Studio Art House also offers Art House Mobile, scouting projects, workshops with professional artists, and birthday parties, any occasion or no occasion parties, where each participant takes home their own work of art.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Weekly classes are available year-round with half-hour Preschool Art classes, one-hour Drawing & Painting classes for K–2nd and 3rd–5th grades, hour-and-a-half Tween Art classes, and two-hour Teen Art and Adult Art classes; camps for ages 5–16 are offered during school breaks and throughout the summer as week-long or one-day camps.
Studio Art House was established in 2000 by a family of artists and later changed owners at the beginning of 2012. The program has expanded to serve artists of all ages in the Dallas–Fort Worth area by opening additional locations in Southlake and Highland Village. The structured curriculum is taught and approved by degreed professional artists. The current owner, Anita Robbins, has been teaching art for over 15 years, is a professional artist with work found around the world, and holds a degree in Fine Art from Brigham Young University; she is often found teaching classes of different levels and ages at all locations.
Studio Art House states that it is dedicated to providing quality art education for all ages through a personalized teaching format and a structured curriculum, with students learning by creating original works of art.
