Gymboree Play & Music offers play and music classes that include interactive games, movement, literacy, and social skills activities. Children and parents can take part in music class, activities with the parachute, and activities with bubbles, along with other parent/child activities and independent (drop-off) activities. Classes follow a child-led approach that builds upon each child’s own abilities and use proprietary equipment designed to create challenges that inspire learning. Specially designed classes incorporate age-appropriate activities that focus on physical, cognitive, and social skills as children play. The Preschool Prep Membership with HOMER focuses on preschool and kindergarten readiness and introduces all 26 letters, relating each letter to fun, imaginative real-life themes. Preschool Prep with HOMER offers a gentle introduction to independent learning in an engaging in-person setting where children explore literacy, social-emotional learning, and emergent numeracy, with both parent/child and independent (drop-off) activities. In these classes, children learn to share, follow directions, take turns, and participate in simple back-and-forth conversational exchanges with teachers and other children.
Classes are taught by a trained teacher, and Gymboree Play & Music centers are owned and run by people who care about giving children the best start in life. The fun began in 1976.
