About
Jeff Isler Golf Junior Academy offers golf and golf fitness for junior players. The program takes place at an indoor coaching and training facility that includes five hitting bays, three teaching bays, a fitness area, a fully outfitted gym, and additional practice areas. Coaches at the Academy are trained to assess a player’s game and provide a comprehensive improvement plan using the industry’s best technology, and the certified fitness program identifies and reduces physical limitations that can lead to swing flaws and injuries.
Jeff Isler Golf Junior Academy states its mission as creating an environment of support, encouragement, and success for its students. The Academy began in 2005 in a converted garage with a hitting mat, net, and video camera as the initial studio. After two years, it moved into a 1,000 sq. ft. retail location in Southlake, and in 2009 it moved to its current facility with five hitting bays, three teaching bays, and a fitness area. In 2011, the Academy added the adjacent space and built out its fully outfitted gym and additional practice areas. The facility is described as a premier performance and practice facility and one of the largest and most advanced indoor coaching and training facilities in the nation, and it offers an environment where young golfers can improve and learn to compete effectively against top junior golfers, with dedicated coaches who take a personal interest in each student’s development and a proprietary practice system for adults.
Testimonials about Jeff Isler Golf Junior Academy include praise from Dr. Rick Jenson, a PGA/LPGA sports psychologist, who describes Jeff as one of the top coaches in golf and notes the Academy’s advanced, personalized approach to developing technical, physical, mental, and on-course skills. A parent, Jeff Davis, notes that the program introduces golf in a fun way that keeps his son wanting to get better as he moves through the program. A student, Madison Ude, says the coaches push students hard enough that they feel good about themselves, and another student, Jack Sladek, says he has fulfilled his dream and continues to use the facility to work toward his second dream.
