About
Jeff Isler Golf Junior Academy offers golf and golf fitness for junior players. The program takes place in an indoor coaching and training facility that includes five hitting bays, three teaching bays, a fitness area, a fully outfitted gym, and additional practice areas. Coaches at the Academy are trained to assess each student’s game and provide a comprehensive improvement plan using the industry’s best technology, and they take a personal interest in the development of each student.
Jeff Isler Golf Junior Academy states its mission as creating an environment of support, encouragement, and success for its students. The Academy has grown from an initial studio in a converted garage in 2005, to a 1,000 sq. ft. retail location after two years, and then in 2009 to its current larger facility with multiple hitting and teaching bays and a fitness area. In 2011, the Academy expanded again by adding adjacent space and building out a fully outfitted gym and additional practice areas. The facility is described as one of the largest and most advanced indoor coaching and training facilities in the nation and is identified as a premier performance and practice facility. The program includes a certified fitness program that identifies and reduces physical limitations that can lead to swing flaws and injuries, and students in this program move better, swing faster, and are ready to perform in peak condition. The Academy also offers an environment where young golfers can improve and learn to compete effectively against the best junior golfers in the country. Dr Rick Jenson, a PGA/LPGA Sports Psychologist, describes Jeff Isler as one of the top coaches in golf and notes that the coaching approach develops a player’s technical, physical, mental, and on-course skills. One parent, Jeff Davis, says the coaches introduce golf in a fun way so that his son wants to get better as he moves through the program. A student, Madison Ude, says the coaches push students hard enough that they feel good about themselves, and another student, Jack Sladek, says he has fulfilled his dream and continues to use the Academy to work toward his second dream.
