Cypress Creek FACE Youth Music & Arts Programs include a Summer Strings camp, Free Children’s Series performances, and concerts in the Star-Lit! Series and Promenade Series. The Summer Strings camp is a four-day orchestra program where students take part in a focused strings experience. Families can also attend Free Children’s Series performances and concert events in the Star-Lit! and Promenade Series during the season.

Founded in 1997, Cypress Creek FACE has presented live music, arts education, and community engagement in Northwest Houston for nearly 30 years and is entering its 30th season. Its mission states that Cypress Creek FACE enriches lives through exceptional music, arts, and educational experiences that inspire learning, foster connection, and enhance the well-being of individuals and the community. The organization presents nationally and internationally recognized artists through its Star-Lit! Series and Promenade Series and offers Free Children’s Series performances that introduce young audiences to music, culture, science, and creativity. Cypress Creek FACE also offers scholarships for local students pursuing the arts and provides access to the Narda Rignault Martin String Library, which loans a variety of acoustic stringed instruments at no cost to young aspiring musicians 18 and under. The leadership team includes Executive Director Bob Schefferine, General Manager Brooke Magness, and Social Media & Marketing Manager Jordan Herring. The Centrum Arts League supports Cypress Creek F.A.C.E. by raising funds each year for the Free Children’s Series, Focus on Education scholarships, the Summer Camp program, and the organization’s operating budget, as part of its community outreach and arts accessibility efforts throughout Northwest Houston.
