KE Camps offers a small, traditional day camp experience that includes swimming, martial arts, yoga, fitness activities, arts and crafts, group games, team building, and Super Science projects. Campers also take part in community service projects, as well as golf and tennis instruction. The program includes weekly Wacky Wednesdays with theme days, Thankful Thursdays with community service projects, and Friday Fundays with traditions such as wearing silly socks or dressing as twins.

Established in 1999, KE Camps operates over 230 camps in more than 35 states and serves more than 12,000 campers. Weekly Thankful Thursday projects involve simple community service initiatives such as Cards for Hospitalized Kids, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and A Million Thanks. Staff members use SMILE Bands to acknowledge positive attributes in campers and to observe their growth over the summer. The program is described as “The Country Club Summer Camp,” and activities and facilities vary between locations.
