AP Tutors offers tutoring and test preparation. Instruction focuses on building a strong foundation in math, analytical reasoning, and numeracy, as well as teaching economics and statistics through subject-specific tutors matched to students’ needs.
Founders Dr. Navin Aswal and Dr. Atrayee Bhattacharjee both completed Ph.D. degrees in Quantitative Economics. Dr. Aswal completed his Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and holds graduate degrees in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. He has taught quantitative courses to undergraduate and graduate students in academia and to company executives in corporate settings, and he enjoys teaching high school students. Dr. Bhattacharjee completed her Ph.D. at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and holds graduate degrees in mathematics and statistics. She specializes in teaching economics and statistics and coordinates periodic assessments with a feedback loop for each individual student. As a founder, Dr. Bhattacharjee strives to foster the optimal learning experience by bringing subject-specific tutors to match students’ needs and overseeing their progress.
