EOAC Head Start & Early Head Start is part of EOAC’s Children (Head Start) program, which includes early learning, nutritious meals, health screenings, and family support. Families can access information such as the 2026–2027 Head Start & Early Head Start Program Calendar, and EOAC hosts events including the Staff 2026–2027 Kick Off Luncheon, First Day of Head Start, All Staff Volunteer Day, and the EOAC Staff Family Holiday Party.

EOAC Head Start & Early Head Start is part of an organization whose mission is “Meeting urgent needs today while building stability for tomorrow.” EOAC has helped families across the Heart of Texas for 60 years and has supported families since 1966. EOAC serves the counties of McLennan, Bosque, Freestone, Limestone, Hill, Falls, Johnson, Ellis, and Navarro, and has been featured on the Anchor Podcast with Dr. Brandon Hubbard and Chilton ISD. Oscar “Doc” DuCongé, remembered by many as Waco’s first Black mayor, is part of the organization’s leadership history. EOAC also offers other program areas, including Education & Careers (EmpowerU), Energy Assistance, and Emergency Assistance.
