Wimberley Athletic Club offers a range of sports activities, including Kickball, the PIPS (Players in Progress) basketball program, TOPS (Texans On Point), Lil Diggers, NFL Punt, Pass & Kick, NFL Flag Football, ASA Girls Fast Pitch Softball, Club Volleyball, and Club Basketball. Wimberley Athletic Club was established in 1997, and its Club Volleyball program was started in 2003. The leadership team includes Gary "Catfish" Pigg as Founder and Executive Director and Tiffany Adams as Manager/Registrar. The program states that it exists for the benefit of those who wish to achieve excellence in athletics and to promote interest in that sport at the local level, and that it teaches the values of teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline, and develops leadership skills. It also states that it aims to develop interest and encourage participation in a sport for elementary, middle, and high school players, to provide players with fundamentals, mechanics, and technical training and to practice locally, and to encourage and help athletes pursue higher education with exposure of WAC players to college programs. Wimberley Athletic Club notes that WAC BALL was founded to provide fun, affordable programs, and that each grade will be in a league with games determined by the number of participants. The program also notes community involvement through WAC collecting toys for Gold Santa in Wimberley, Texas.
