About
Invictus Basketball Club Youth Programs offers basketball activities that include Little Ballers, Skills Foundations, Skills Lab, the D-League, Club Teams, Parent-and-Me Lil’ Ballers, Personal Training, and Girls Teams. The program uses eight levels of basketball to identify each player’s current skill set and offers six levels of competitive teams. Coaches give formal individual player evaluations to parents each year and have developed a club approach to college recruitment for athletes.

Invictus’ roots started in 2017. Its mission is “Unleashing the unbeatable potential of young athletes by discovering and developing their strengths and abilities, empowering them to excel both in athletics and in life.” The program’s coaches have played at the collegiate and/or professional level and are USA Gold-Certified, and the club states that it was the first in Utah to introduce technical skills training and levels in basketball training. Invictus offers beginner programs such as Little Ballers, Skills Foundations, Skills Lab, and the D-League, as well as Club Teams that include advanced skills training, game play techniques, and critical thinking for intermediate to advanced players, and it has since grown to become the largest club organization in Utah. The organization reports that its recruitment phase opens doors to playing on elite traveling teams, high school teams, and earning college recruitment opportunities, and that it believes in a “whole child” development approach, emphasizing mental growth alongside technical skills and basketball IQ. Programs also include Parent-and-Me Lil’ Ballers, and Invictus states that it aims to standardize the levels of basketball in Utah. Invictus has inked a deal with New Balance and will be on the Prelude 32 Circuit.
