Alexandria Soccer Association Programs include soccer and futsal activities such as Tots Soccer, Recreational League, Junior Academy, Academy, Academy Futsal, Futsal League, and Adult & Pro programs. The programs also offer Individual Training, Ball Mastery Training, Advanced Ball Mastery, Academy Tryouts, Summer Camps and other Camps, the Alexandria Growth Program, the Futsal Growth Program, and Access4All programming. Participants can also take part in tournaments including Feature Weekend Showcase, Alexandria Soccer Kick Off, 3x3 Live, and the Columbus Day Futsal Cup.

Alexandria Soccer Association is a non-profit organization established in 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia. The organization’s mission is to connect and engage the community through high quality, accessible, sports programs that positively impact Alexandria. Its vision is to be a leading community organization that empowers participants to achieve their greatest potential, and its stated values include engaging the Alexandria community, accountability, evolution, and prioritizing health and safety.
ASA offers soccer and futsal programs for kids and adults of all abilities and ages, across recreational, competitive, and intermediate levels with seasonal breakdowns in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. Programs develop character, mental and physical fitness, and interpersonal skills, and sportsmanship, social skills, and self-esteem are developed by player participation and regular interaction with volunteer and professional coaches. Everyone is welcome, and players who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch at school are eligible for a 25% discount on ASA programs. On average, kids in ASA programs spend 215 hours per year being active outside, and there are 7,500 youth and adult participants.
ASA contributes to a thriving Alexandria community and offers soccer programs for citizens of all abilities and ages in the city limits of Alexandria, while programming is open to both city residents and non-residents. ASA engaged community stakeholders, staff, coaches, and parents in a strategic planning process through focus groups, surveys, one-on-one meetings, and retreats. Access4All programs provided more than 2,000 kids access to free programming last year, and more than 2,000 kids had access to free programming in Access4All programs last year.
In 2022, ASA provided $750,000 in scholarship support. The organization is home to one USYS Regional Championship and two USYS State Championships, as well as three US Futsal Federation National Champions. ASA has more than 100 referees, including 50 middle and high school ASA players who are certified to referee.
