The program blends creativity and research in its approach to building programs that spark imagination and support well-being. It welcomes participants at all levels, from beginners to lifelong movers, based on the belief that every body can move and everyone is creative.
Local Motion Project Youth Program is led by a leadership team that includes Brenna Cooley, President; Meg Williams, Treasurer; and Elizabeth Hein, Secretary. Its mission is to bring people of all ages together through dance and movement to spark creativity, curiosity, and joy. The program welcomes and celebrates people of all races, colors, religions, genders, gender identities or expressions, ages, national origins, abilities, marital statuses, sexual orientations, and military backgrounds.
