Rise Martial Arts offers martial arts, games, crafts, snacks, and board breaking, along with evening martial arts classes. The program also provides transportation from school, field trips, birthday parties, Parent Night Outs, and adventure summer camps. Birthday parties at Rise Martial Arts include a birthday board breaking activity where the birthday child breaks a real wood board.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: One and a half hours of fun, with flexible pick-up available as late as 6:00 p.m.
Rise Martial Arts began in 2013 under a different name, founded by the same owners, and rebranded as Rise Martial Arts in 2020. From 2020 to 2021, the program adapted to the pandemic by offering training both in-person and virtually. The program offers part-time and full-time after school options, safe transportation with dedicated vans and buses, and care for Teacher Work Days, Holidays, and Snow Days. It also offers adventure summer camps with a different theme every week, an after school program with transportation, and birthdays and Parent Night Out events. Rise Martial Arts offers a free two week trial.
The mission of Rise Martial Arts states that it offers a warm and safe environment that supports learning and personal growth, with every aspect of the program designed for students to learn at their own pace, and that no one sits on the bench at Rise Martial Arts. Classes are available for ages 4 to 104. Lead team members are First Aid and CPR certified, and all team members over the age of 18 are background checked.
Rise Martial Arts hosts fundraising events for local schools, including Parent Night Outs, as an ongoing part of its community involvement. It is described as a single, vibrant location that serves as a hub for excellence in martial arts and community engagement.
