The Goddard School of Ashland offers activities that include after school time, after school transportation, and use of a basketball court and playgrounds. Children use computers, tablets, interactive whiteboards, and other learning technologies, and they also take part in handwriting, physical fitness, and sports and fitness activities. The program includes experiences related to world cultures.

The Goddard School of Ashland features an air purifying system, finger guards, a gate alarm, and supervised lobby entry, as well as a basketball court and playgrounds. The school uses the Wonder of Learning® education program and offers a 3D tour. The program lists tenured teachers among its features.

Owners Susan and Eric lead the school’s leadership team. Susan has a BS in Education from Indiana University and has experience as a preschool teacher, student teacher, substitute teacher, and as a teacher at her children’s elementary school, where she taught 72 preschoolers a week. Eric has over 30 years of business experience in leadership roles in Fortune 50 companies, mid-size, and startup organizations, and he is an adjunct instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he teaches undergraduate business students about entrepreneurial finance and business strategy.

The Goddard School of Ashland was Cognia® accredited from June 2013 through June 2023 and has received a Humanitarian Award (title mentioned). The school’s stated mission is to offer an expert curriculum, experienced teachers, and a nurturing environment, and to nurture each child’s unique potential by encouraging natural curiosity so children are prepared to confidently take on the world.
