Capital Gymnastics National Training Center offers gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, power tumbling, trampoline, and cheerleading, along with specialized training for TOPS and Elite. The program also offers a homeschool program, summer camps, and adult open gym.

• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday from 3:30 PM to 9 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 3 PM

Capital Gymnastics National Training Center states that it is dedicated to children’s fitness and to using gymnastics to increase a child’s strength, flexibility, and coordination, as well as to give them confidence and determination to be successful, and to instill in children a lifelong love of fitness, exercise, and self-achievement. The facility offers over 23,000 square feet of air-conditioned space with brand new floors, state-of-the-art competitive equipment, plenty of viewing area, an on-site pro-shop, clean and private bathrooms, and plentiful cubbies for recreational classes, cheer, and guests. The program is home to 4 Junior National Team members and offers men’s and women’s competitive teams for gymnastics, power tumbling, trampoline, and XCEL, as well as recreational classes and competitive programs for girls and boys in gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, and cheerleading. Capital Gymnastics National Training Center also offers specialized training for TOPS and Elite, a homeschool program, summer camps, and adult open gym.

The leadership team includes owner Tish Simmons; co-owner Neil Simmons; Recreational Program and Trampoline & Power Tumbling Director Brian Rivera; Head Coach Tatiana Perskaia; and Director of the Xcel Program Rachel Miller. Staff credentials include Tatiana Perskaia, who earned the titles of “Distinguished Coach of the Ukraine” and “Distinguished Coach of the Soviet Union,” is an International Brevet Judge, and is on the USA Gymnastics Women’s National Team Coaching Staff; Jose Teran, who has a bachelor degree in Geography and High Performance Sports and was the head coach of the Venezuelan junior national team; Alex Chiriboga, who is a national judge of Ecuador and has a degree in physical education; Rachel Miller, who has a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville; and Renato Araujo, who has over 30 years of experience as a gymnastics coach and has been to many international competitions including 3 Olympic Games.

Capital Gymnastics National Training Center is a proud member of USA Gymnastics and is a 10-time recipient of the Virginia USAG Club of the Year award. The program describes itself as one of the finest gymnastics clubs in the country and one of the most prestigious and fast-growing gym programs in the US.
