Double C Ranch Camps

Double C Ranch Camps offers Summer Camps for ages 7-13, including Western Riding Camp, English Riding Camp, and Mounted Games Riding Camp. The Western Riding Camp covers western riding, barrel pattern introduction, pole bending, horse care, groundwork, and horsemanship. The English Riding Camp covers dressage basics, pole work, beginner jumping, horse care, groundwork, and communication, and the Mounted Games Riding Camp covers mounted games, teamwork, balance, strategy, horse care, and horsemanship.

• Summer Camps — 7-13 · Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM · Maximum of 10 riders per week. Camps include Western Riding Camp, English Riding Camp, and Mounted Games Riding Camp.
• Western Riding Camp — 7-13 · Mon-Fri · Dates listed: June 1-June 5 and June 29-July 3. Camp focuses on western riding, barrel pattern introduction, pole bending, horse care, groundwork, and horsemanship.
• English Riding Camp — 7-13 · Mon-Fri · Dates listed: June 8-June 12 and July 6-July 10. Camp focuses on dressage basics, pole work, beginner jumping, horse care, groundwork, and communication.
• Mounted Games Riding Camp — 7-13 · Mon-Fri · Dates listed: June 15-June 19 and July 13-July 17. Camp focuses on mounted games, teamwork, balance, strategy, horse care, and horsemanship.
• Advanced Riding Camp — 9-16 · Dates: July 27-31, 2026. For experienced riders; current students or introductory-lesson qualification required. Walk, trot, and canter required; own horse optional.
• Riding Lessons — children and adults · Private riding lessons with Bronze, Silver, and Gold membership levels.

About the provider

Christine is the founder and instructor at Double C Ranch Camps and is a certified riding instructor from Germany. All camp staff are SafeSport Certified. The ranch emphasizes groundwork, effective communication with horses, horsemanship, and a structured curriculum rooted in German riding methodology and aligned with United States Pony Club standards.

No experience is required for Western, English, or Mounted Games camps. Advanced Camp requires a minimum of 1 year of regular riding lessons or equivalent experience. Price is listed only for Advanced Riding Camp: $1,000.
