YMCA After School, Camps, and Youth Programs includes activities such as sports, youth flag football, basketball, aquatics programs, group exercise, and youth development programs. The program also offers After School, Summer Day Camp, Power Scholars, Teen Leadership Camp, and camp options, along with child care. Additional offerings include lessons for ages 6 months through adults, the competitive Cavalier Aquatics youth swim team, adult volleyball, personal training, and group training.

The Brooks Family YMCA is a full-facility, 79,000-square-foot YMCA that includes 2 indoor pools, a fitness center, a gymnasium, a walking track, group exercise space, a play zone, and a community room. YMCA Early Learning and Preschool programs serve children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K, serving ages 0–5 at the Early Learning Center at the Jefferson School. The Piedmont Family YMCA association in Charlottesville, Virginia, is a nonprofit with educational programs located in Greene County and Charlottesville City Schools and has After School and other youth programs located in Charlottesville City Schools and Greene County Public Schools. The Senior Director of School Age Programs is Cassandra Barnes.
