About the provider
Adventure Links was founded in 1997. Its stated mission is to challenge the individual, develop teamwork, and empower the participant to protect the environment. The source also says the program works with local charities to provide complimentary experiences for underprivileged and at-risk youth and participates in river and beach cleanup programs.
Instructors must be at least 19 years old. They must have Wilderness First Aid and CPR certification for day camps, and overnight camp activities have at least one instructor with Wilderness First Responder certification. Instructors undergo criminal background checks and drug screenings. Camps run in all weather conditions.
