FPYC Soccer offers recreational soccer that includes Saturday academy style training and small-sided games for younger players and league-style games for older players. The program includes soccer enrichment programs starting at U4 through U19, with professional soccer training for younger age groups and professional training for older keepers, goalies, and strikers. FPYC Soccer also runs a Winter pick-up soccer program as an unstructured, noncompetitive, no-stress environment.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Recreational soccer seasons run 10 weeks with 7–8 game weekends, with most teams beginning practice around March 15 and games typically played on Saturdays; FPYC PowerRec Youth (U7–U10) practices are 1 hour, and FPYC NCSL Rec (U11–U19) practices are 1.5 hours in duration.

FPYC Soccer celebrates over 65 years serving the community of Fairfax, Virginia and surrounding areas. The program includes Saturday academy style training and small-sided games for U4–U5 (Mini & Mighty Academy), a transition at U6 to one practice or training per week with small-sided games on Saturdays, PowerRec Youth (U7–U10) with 1–2 practices per week and Saturday small-sided and 8v8 games, and NCSL Rec (U11–U19) with a minimum of two practices per week and games scheduled by NCSL. FPYC Soccer emphasizes respect and protection of referees, including many young referees. FPYC Soccer is run 100% by the community as a volunteer organization and is part of the Fairfax Police Youth Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of leadership, sportsmanship, and physical fitness while encouraging and providing opportunities for youth to participate in a variety of sports. FPYC provides sporting venues for multiple sports including soccer, basketball, field hockey, football (flag and tackle), lacrosse, running, volleyball, wrestling, and youth challenged sports. FPYC Soccer has a partnership with Burke Sports to provide FPYC Soccer logo gear and partners with Golden Boot Soccer for its Winter pick-up soccer program and for professional soccer training for younger age groups and for older keepers, goalies, and strikers. The FPYC Soccer Director of Operations is Rich Crowder.
