Fairfax Gymnastics Academy Summer Camp

Fairfax Gymnastics Academy Summer Camp takes place in a fully equipped gymnastics facility with competition-level apparatuses, a foam pit, and trampolines. Campers can jump on the trampoline, play in the foam pit, and take part in activities that are also offered at the gym such as recreational classes, competitive teams, cheer and tumbling, private lessons, open gym, and summer camp sessions.

• Schedule: Sunday 12–1 PM open gym during the summer

Fairfax Gymnastics Academy states that it is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and positive learning environment for children and to offering professional training that will help instill self-confidence as athletes set goals and strive to meet their full potential. The program states that it aims to be a place where children gain confidence and discipline along with body awareness and strength, and where they can have fun, learn new skills, meet friends, and grow in self-confidence. The academy is staffed with professionals who have a fundamental belief in the benefits of gymnastics training as fitness for children.

Open gym is described as an unstructured, uncoached time in the gym during the summer. Parents are asked not to stay in the lobby and to use the roped-off parking lot area for drop-off and pick-up, and they may watch via the LiveStream on the Customer Portal App during their child’s class. Families must have an account on the Customer Portal in order to sign up for any classes.

Fairfax Gymnastics Academy has been selected for the 2018 Best of Fairfax Awards in the Gymnastics Schools category. It was also awarded Club of the Year 2015 by VAUSAG for outstanding contribution to Virginia gymnastics.
