UMS Martial Arts

UMS Martial Arts offers Taekwondo and Hapkido, including Children + Young Adult Taekwondo, Adult Taekwondo, Adult Hapkido, and a summer camp. The program also offers family classes that allow parents and children, as well as siblings of different ages, to take class together. Tae Kwon Do at UMS Martial Arts follows a style that is part of the most widely practiced martial art in the world and has been a full medal Olympic sport since 2000.

Grandmaster Um founded UMS Martial Arts in 2001 after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Martial Arts at Yong-In University and teaching in the Korean special forces. The program describes a close-knit community of martial arts students and instructors who focus on Taekwondo and Hapkido. According to its mission statement, UMS Martial Arts emphasizes that students of all ages and walks of life are able to benefit from martial arts training by applying themselves to martial arts instruction and philosophy, including self improvement, building self-confidence, and learning how to defend themselves. Family classes are described as a way for families to bond in an innovative fashion while reinforcing respect within the family unit.

UMS Martial Arts offers a Limited Time Offer Summer Day Special of one free trial Taekwondo class for new members, as well as a Falls Church Taekwondo Summer Special of one free Taekwondo try-out class for new members.
