About

All Fired Up Art Camp gives kids hands-on time with pottery painting, glass fusing, and the wet clay studio. The program takes place in a paint-your-own ceramics studio that offers a variety of art projects using pottery, glass, and clay. Studio hosts guide campers through the process of painting pottery and offer tips while campers choose their own pieces and paint colors.

• Price: Prices range depending on the size and intricacy of the pieces. A good price range is $20-$40, but there are many pieces under $20 and over $40.

All Fired Up Art Camp is part of Richmond's Original Paint Your Own Ceramics Studio, which has been serving the community since 1996. The studio provides paints, brushes, and assistance, and campers select their own pottery before they begin painting. The environment is described as fun and fast paced, with a focus on creating art pieces and memories with family and friends, and on helping children and adults grow their confidence in creating something beautiful. Co-founders of All Fired Up are Meg Hargrave and Cindy Wofford, and the former owner is Amy Talley. The current owner and operator is Diana O’Connor, who graduated with her degree in art from Radford University and first joined All Fired Up in 2011. Meg Hargrave is a degreed art major, and Diana O’Connor also holds a degree in art. All Fired Up has offered paint-your-own ceramics in Richmond since 1996 and has expanded over the years to include additional studios and leadership transitions.
