Camp Horizons

Camp Horizons is a coed overnight camp that includes horseback programs with access to a barn and horses. Horseback programs at Camp Horizons are led by experienced instructors, and campers grow their horsemanship skills under this guidance. The camp emphasizes providing a safe environment with learning and fun for everyone who attends.

Camp Horizons has welcomed campers for over 40 years. It is dedicated to encouraging campers to be creative and independent individuals, to develop strong teamwork skills, and to have fun. The camp welcomes campers from across the United States and from other countries. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, or nationality. Camp Horizons is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited coed sleep-away summer camp. It is consistently ranked as one of the best residential summer camps in Virginia for campers ages 6–17 years old. The camp provides a safe, supportive community for trying new things and embarking on new adventures, with a focus on developing camp friendships that will last a lifetime.
