The Merit School of Manassas offers art, music, Spanish, foreign language, physical education classes, STEM learning, technology instruction, and field trips. The program includes hot, nutritious meals and snacks, with USDA-approved meals included at no extra cost except for children with food allergies. The facility uses secure keypad entry systems and has age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds, colorful, well-lit classrooms, and furniture and storage chosen or custom-built with child safety in mind.

The Merit School of Manassas follows a developmentally appropriate curriculum in a literacy-enriched learning environment and uses a hands-on learning centers approach. Individualized lesson plans are designed by early care professionals, and the program offers daily communication with families about children’s activities and progress, including real-time communication with parents in the Baby Steps infant program. The program offers transportation to and from area public schools and provides Winter, Spring, and Summer Camps. The Merit School of Manassas operates under the motto “Knowledge, Character, Achievement,” with a strong emphasis on building character and instilling values such as kindness, respect, and responsibility, and students learn cooperation, empathy, and good citizenship through interactive activities and positive reinforcement. Small class sizes and trained educators provide individualized attention, and a range of enrichment opportunities includes music, foreign language, and technology.
