The Merit School of Manassas

The Merit School of Manassas offers Baby Steps: Infant Daycare, Toddler Explorers: Toddler Daycare, Preschool Explorers, PREP - Preschool Readiness Enrichment, Junior Kindergarten, Youth Zone - Before and After School Program, Summer Camp, and Private Kindergarten. The program includes individualized lesson plans, daily communication with families, group activities, STEM learning, literacy, math, science, social studies, handwriting, technology instruction, and transportation to and from area public schools. It also includes age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds, secure keypad entry systems, and USDA-approved meals at no extra cost.

• Baby Steps: Infant Daycare — 3 weeks - 12 years
• Toddler Explorers: Toddler Daycare — 16-24 months · Toddler program in a nurturing and safe environment with individualized lesson plans supporting social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Daily communication with families.
• Preschool Explorers — two and three-year-olds
• PREP - Preschool Readiness Enrichment — three- and four-year-olds · Program designed to develop language, math, and social skills. Includes group activities, STEM learning, social-emotional development, and parent-teacher communication.
• Junior Kindergarten — four- and five-year-olds · Prepares children for kindergarten by focusing on literacy, math, science, and social studies. Also develops handwriting skills, technology instruction, and social skills.
• Youth Zone - Before and After School Program — Before and after school care offering a safe and supportive environment.
• Summer Camp
• Private Kindergarten

About the provider

The Merit School of Manassas was established in 1980. It is accredited by Cognia and was recognized in the Inside NOVA 2024 Best of 2024 Readers’ Poll. The school has served hundreds of families in the Manassas area and supports military families through a partnership with NACCRRA / Child Care Aware of America.

Meals / snacks are not included for children with food allergies. Meal / snack exclusions do not affect tuition costs. Schools serviced are subject to change based on number of students enrolled from each public school.
