Tuckahoe Recreation Club Programs include swim classes and swim lessons, tennis classes and tennis lessons, and fitness classes. Participants can join swim and dive teams, competitive swimming, competitive diving, competitive tennis, water polo, pickleball, yoga classes, water aerobics, and personal training sessions. The club also offers seasonal member social events and activities such as miniature golf, ping pong, bean bag toss, and tether ball.

• Schedule: Fitness center hours run Monday–Saturday from 6:00 am–9:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am–9:00 pm; outdoor main pool and indoor pool are open Monday–Friday from 8:00 am–9:00 pm and Saturday–Sunday from 9:00 am–9:00 pm; intermediate and baby pools are open daily in the summer season, with the baby pool from 9:00 am–9:00 pm and the intermediate pool from 11:00 am–9:00 pm; tennis courts are open year-round, weather permitting, with Courts 1–4 from 9:00 am–10:00 pm and Courts 5–6 from 9:00 am–9:00 pm; the Tuckahoe Grille is open daily in the summer season from 10:00 am–8:00 pm.

Tuckahoe Recreation Club is described as a year-round private recreation facility and the only year-round member-based swim, dive, tennis, and fitness facility in the area. It has four pools, including a 25-meter outdoor pool with waterslide, diving well, and both three-meter and one-meter dive boards open year-round, an outdoor intermediate pool, an outdoor baby pool, and an indoor 25-yard pool open year-round. Its indoor facility features a 25-yard pool with diving board, gym, whirlpool, steam room, yoga room, and locker rooms with sauna, along with six lighted hard-surface tennis courts, a miniature golf course, a modern grill, a fitness center, a picnic/pavilion area, a playground, ping pong, bean bag toss, tether ball, and a snack bar grill with a renovated covered pavilion area.

The mission of Tuckahoe Recreation Club is to offer members a year-round swim, dive, tennis, and fitness facility that embraces the fundamental values of family and community in a fun and safe environment for all. Starting in the summer of 1954, a small group of families met and decided to develop a community pool, and on July 4, 1955, after a year of construction, the Tuckahoe Recreation Club opened its swimming pool. Tuckahoe Recreation Club, along with seven other Northern Virginia clubs, chartered the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL), and it serves members from around the DC metro region. The club is described as a family facility renowned throughout Northern Virginia for its close-knit communal atmosphere and offers year-round programs and a family-friendly environment.
