Parks and Recreation Summer Camps

Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Programs include activities such as the Farmers Market, the Summer in the Parks Series, Outdoor Fest, National Night Out, and the Centenarian Celebration. The program also offers access to basketball and pickleball, and highlights historic sites such as the Continental Army Barracks, Hospital and Manufactory. Parks and Recreation offers over 700 programs available each season, and Cogbill Park features an inclusive playground along with basketball and pickleball courts.

Dr. Kevin A. Catlin is Chesterfield's next County Administrator. National Night Out events consist of several free events that promote police and community partnerships and help build stronger, safer neighborhoods. Outdoor Fest is a free event in September celebrating outdoor activities in Chesterfield County, and interested Outdoor Fest vendors are asked to offer engaging activities that inspire a love for outdoor adventure and promote experiential education. The community comes together to mark the opening of new facilities such as Cogbill Park, and Chesterfield County Airport is collecting school supplies to help stock local classrooms for the upcoming school year.
