Camp Hanover Summer Camp and Programs offers faith-based overnight and day camp experiences for elementary, middle, and high school youth. The program takes place in a setting described as a place apart and a quiet place where Christ-centered community is nurtured and where people can experience God’s presence in the natural world. Camp Hanover Summer Camp and Programs provides comfortable overnight lodging, hearty meals, and an atmosphere of radical, uncompromising Christian hospitality for campers and other visitors.

Founded in 1957 and established in 1956 by 350 Presbyterians who gathered to lay the foundation for a Christian camp in the woods, Camp Hanover Summer Camp and Programs has maintained American Camp Association accreditation consistently for over 60 years. Camp Hanover is a fully accredited member of the American Camp Association and meets or exceeds the summer camping industry’s standards for safe operation, employing best practices to maintain a summer camp program of high quality. Camp Hanover is a Ministry Partner with the Presbytery of the James and Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to nurture and deepen the spiritual lives of congregations and to provide members with ways to practice their faith through mission service and outreach. Its mission is to create inclusive community, inspire each other to live in God’s love, and equip all people to live out God’s call. Parents describe Camp Hanover as a sacred place and a Christ-centered community where their children have found belonging, identity, and purpose, and they highlight experiences such as counselors playing and being silly with campers, joining them on activities like a mud slide, and offering care and love to everyone who visits.
