Adventure Links Summer Camp offers custom-tailored outdoor education programs with a focus on high adventure, environmental, and team building activities, with intended outcomes for individual, group, and environment development. Its programs state a mission to challenge the individual, develop teamwork, empower participants to protect the environment, create positive learning cultures, and stay at the forefront of outdoor educational practices. Founded in 1997, Adventure Links has been described as a leader in summer camp, team building, and outdoor education for 22 years.
The leadership team includes Founder and CEO Anna Birch, Founder and Co-Owner Austin Birch, and their daughters Autumn and Audrey Birch. Adventure Links’ summer camp previously held at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park is accredited by the American Camp Association, and the organization states that its site, policies, and procedures continue to meet or exceed ACA recommendations for summer camps, even though it is no longer accredited.
Parent comments describe campers as having great experiences as first-time participants, learning new things, and making new friends. Parents report that their children talked enthusiastically and at length about the many different activities, described the camp as “exhausting, tiring, fun, exhilarating, and a stamina workout,” and expressed interest in returning to Adventure Links Summer Camp.
