Summer on the Hill is connected with Flint Hill School and takes place across its educational divisions. The program is part of a school community that includes 1,061 students in grades JK-12, organized into eight college-prep academic departments, with athletics and fine arts integrated into school life.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
Flint Hill’s Lower School includes grades JK-6 with 279 students and a 7:1 student-teacher ratio, and the Middle School includes grades 7-8 with around 202–204 students and a 7:1–8:1 student-teacher ratio. The Upper School includes grades 9-12 with around 578–581 students and a 9:1 student-teacher ratio. Across the school, 75% of faculty and administration hold advanced degrees. The school offers 22 sports, with 39 Middle School teams and 50 Upper School teams, and between 35 and 45 arts courses, with 12 fine arts faculty and between 19 and 22 visual and performing arts shows.
