About
Teens in Action includes team sports, games, arts and crafts, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programming, service projects, and cultural field trips. The program operates during spring, summer, and winter breaks when Fairfax County Public Schools are closed. Free nutritious lunches and snacks are served as part of the program.
• Ages: 11–18 years old
• Schedule: Options during spring, summer, and winter breaks on weekdays, generally between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Price: Admission to Teens in Action is FREE. Some activities and field trips will require a fee in order to participate.
Teens in Action offers a recreation program for middle school and high school students to learn, play and serve. Service projects are included as part of the program’s activities. Financial assistance is available, and eligibility requirements apply.
