Swim Lessons is offered as part of the YMCA of Greater Richmond’s programs, which also include water aerobics-based programs, group exercise, youth sports such as flag football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, Miracle League, summer camp, and STEM programs. Members have unlimited access to these programs across 16 locations in the RVA region and can use resources such as a pool and a large number of weights.

It offers income-based memberships, no contracts, no joining fees, access to YMCAs across the country through the Nationwide Program, unlimited access to all group exercise classes for members, and complimentary Child Watch services for any active member with children 6 weeks to 11 years old on their account. One member described liking the consistency and versatility of the water aerobics-based programs and the friendliness of the staff, another highlighted the variety of programs and resources such as the pool and weights, and other members noted friendly, welcoming staff and a well-run, secure Child Watch with separate areas for babies and older children.
