Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council Camps and Programs at Camp Icimani include activities such as a climbing wall, an archery range, and hiking trails with a Girl Scouts-only letterboxing series. Participants also have access to a creek with a beach area, primitive camping spots, and a camping area with platform tents and cabinettes. Overnight facilities include a large gymnasium, platform tents, cabinettes, and camp sites, and the main building’s gym/arena can host large events for up to 300 participants.

The council’s headquarters and The Skyline Shop are located within the camp’s main building and gym. Camp facilities also include locker rooms with hot showers, a meeting room and kitchen, a large gym, and large open fields. The Girl Scouts mission states that Girl Scouts discover who they are, tap into the power inside them, and build the confidence to let it shine, and that through programs from coast to coast and overseas, girls of all backgrounds and abilities come as they are and create their own paths. The mission further states that along the way, they explore their passions, develop hands-on skills, and discover the tools they need to lead with joy on their own terms, and that challenges do not stop Girl Scouts as they discover their strengths in science labs and on hiking trails, at cookie booths, and in front of city councils. According to the mission, Girl Scouts are backed by volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums and are part of a lifelong sisterhood of powerful change-makers, and that Girl Scouts exist because the world deserves to see their full potential and they deserve to experience it.
