WinShape Camps for Communities Day Camps offers a full day of activities that include Rec, Team Time, Village Rally, Snack City, Skill 1, Lunch, Worship, Skill 2, and Power Surge. Campers take part in specific activities such as shooting an arrow, climbing a rock wall, playing basketball, singing songs, reading the Bible, rowing a canoe, and toasting a marshmallow during a one-week session.
• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: One-week session, Monday–Thursday with daily drop-off at 8:15 am and pick-up at 5:00 pm
• Price: One-Week Session Rate $275
Summer Staff go through an extensive application process that includes a 30-minute face-to-face interview, a background check, and safety training, followed by a week of intentional development from experts. WinShape Camps has offered camp experiences for 40 summers and launched its first overnight camp in 1985. WinShape Camps’ mission is to glorify God by creating experiences that transform campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ. WinShape Camps for Communities brings day camps to over 75 communities around the country, and WinShape Camps International works with partners to offer locally-led day camp experiences in Brazil and Costa Rica during the spring and summer. The program offers a wide variety of skills, age-specific content, and a refreshed experience every year, with every summer built around a new theme. Families provide lunch each day while WinShape Camps provides snacks, and meals and snack times are nut free, with parents asked not to send any foods containing nuts. At the end of the week, there is a day of fun for the whole family that includes a Chick-fil-A family lunch on Friday.
