Whiz-kid Starz

Whiz-kid Starz offers before and after school care, summer camp, and activities that include music, dance, Taekwondo, and fencing. The program includes academic level based tutoring, homework assistance, learning music and dance, and field trips indoors and outdoors. The program states that it is not a mere child care center and that it believes every student is unique and has potential to become a star.

Whiz-kid Starz states that it serves Prince William County and has done so since 2002. The program’s mission is to foster a love of learning in children through creative lesson plans and prompts. It also states that it wants to be a place where students can enjoy and appreciate music and dancing, and where parents can entrust their child to be educated in ways they have not experienced at other child care centers. The program describes its goal as ushering students to discover their talents, becoming a foot stool to their success in becoming a great performer, and notes that young children are curious and active and crave structure in an environment that is supportive, educational, and fun.
