South Sound Swim and Safety offers small group swim programs and adapted programs, along with parent and child classes and swim team prep. The parent and child classes include songs, gentle play, and age-appropriate water movements. The preschool age swimmer classes use a flotation belt system, and the swim team prep class is a skill refinement and endurance class for swimmers who can swim 25 yards.
Programs
- Swim Programs — children and adults; ages 6 months through adults · $35 per class · Small group swim programs in Auburn and the surrounding area; ratio of 3 children to 1 instructor.
- Adapted Programs — children who have special needs · $75 per class · 1:1 program for children with special needs; can help the child socially move from a 1:1 program to the small group programs.
- Parent and Child Programs — 6 months to 3 years; babies 6 months and older · Monday 4:30 PM, Wednesday 10:30 AM, Friday 4:30 PM · $25 per class · Parents or responsible adults join children in the pool for songs, gentle play, and age-appropriate water movements.
- Preschool Age Swimmers — preschool age swimmers · Children use a flotation belt system to help them gain balance and confidence in the water.
- Swim Team Prep Class — 6-18 years old · three days a week for 60 minutes · $70 per class · Skill refinement and endurance class for swimmers that can swim 25 yards.

South Sound Swim and Safety was founded in 2008. Its mission was founded on the belief that everyone should learn to be safe in and around water.
Program registration during the school year will automatically re-enroll month to month. Yearly registration fee is $75 per family. Prices start at $35 per lesson for the group program.
