South Sound Swim and Safety offers swim programs and swim lessons taught in small groups for both children and adults. The program uses an affordable small group format with a ratio of 3 children to 1 instructor.
• Ages: 6 months–18 years old
• Price: Prices start at only $35 per lesson for the group program, with a yearly registration fee of $75 per family.
South Sound Swim and Safety was founded in 2008 by Erica Woodcock. The program has been sharing water safety in the South Puget Sound since 2008. Staff are trained and equipped to work with ages 6 months through adults. Swim programs are taught in small groups for both children and adults in Auburn and the surrounding area, including Maple Valley, Covington, and Kent. For safety, all other doors into the pool are locked. The mission of South Sound Swim and Safety is based on the belief that everyone should learn to be safe in and around water.
