Life Force Ninja was founded in September 2019 with the goals to bring the sport of ninja to Bellingham and to promote a healthy active lifestyle. The program is led by co-owners and ninja coaches Becca Margulies and Jadyn Welch. Staff credentials listed include World Ninja League Certified Coach, Crossfit Level 1 Certified, and CPR & AED Certified. Life Force Ninja describes that ninja became a community of kids and adults who have connected with each other through movement.

Life Force Ninja is described as Bellingham’s premier ninja training facility and the Pacific Northwest’s largest and most well-equipped ninja gym, with hundreds of obstacles allowing infinite configurations. The facility includes over 70 different obstacle challenges on any given day, an 18′ tall mega warped wall, an air bag with obstacles overhead, a climbing wall, a super salmon ladder, 4,500 sq ft of ninja lanes, private party rooms, and American Ninja Warrior style obstacles. It also includes an obstacle build lab with specialized tools such as a CNC router, and most obstacles are built in-house from concept drawings to CAD design to production, with the ability to create and install a new obstacle in a matter of hours. Open gym is available for ages 5 and up and families are welcome, and open gym is not suitable for kids under the age of five.

Parent feedback includes comments that the gym has “tons of obstacles for all skill levels” and specific favorites like the warped wall, flying bar, salmon ladder, spider wall, and monkey pegs. Multiple parents describe the staff, owners, and coaches as helpful, friendly, and involved, and note that the gym setup changes and stays challenging. Families report traveling from other areas to visit, and several describe it as worth the drive and a place their kids are eager to return to.
