Artsy Fartsy Art Lessons is an art school and studio that offers private lessons focused on drawing and painting. The program offers private one-on-one art lessons as well as small private group lessons for 2 to 4 individuals. • Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Studio hours are Monday 3pm to 5pm and Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm, with lessons by appointment; private one-on-one lessons are 60 minutes, and small group lessons for 2 to 4 individuals are 75 minutes.
• Price: Private lessons are $50 for a one-hour one-on-one lesson, and for 2 to 4 individuals the cost is $40 per artist for a 75-minute lesson; supplies are included in these costs.
Artsy Fartsy Art Lessons L.L.C offers children age seven through adult affordable high quality art classes to encourage exploring creativity in drawing and painting. This is an art school and is not a “paint and sip” or “one and done” venue. The program states, “I help you achieve your artistic goals.”
Susan M. Bagrationoff is the owner and art educator of Artsy Fartsy Art Lessons. Susan graduated with her Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2002 from Florida International University with a major in painting and two minors in art history and education. She became an early elementary teacher in Miami, Florida in 2005, teaching first grade and kindergarten, and later taught first grade for three years in Fort Myers, Florida. In 2015, Susan became an art teacher at a public middle school in Fort Myers. Susan is a professional artist as well as a teaching artist, and her professional body of work can be experienced when visiting the studio or at https://susanmbagrationoff.artfolio.com.
Artsy Fartsy Art Lessons was started in 2013 in Fort Myers, Florida. A desire to explore a new city and reconnect with old friends brought Susan to Kent, Washington in June 2016. Availability is limited, and the wait list for any Saturday time slot or for weekdays at 4pm is seven months, potentially more. Due to the studio relocating in September 2026, wait list requests are limited. Susan often works with local emerging and student artists to exhibit their work in the studio.
