About
Evergreen Rhythmics Summer Camp offers rhythmic gymnastics and aesthetic group gymnastics along with flexibility, strength, and coordination training. Camp days include ballet, dance, acrobatics, tumbling, and apparatus work with ribbon, ball, hoop, jump rope, and clubs, as well as choreography. Full day campers also have a pool party or games with a pizza party on Friday afternoons.
• Schedule: Half day camps run Monday–Friday from 9am–1pm and full day camps run Monday–Friday from 9am–4pm, with extended morning hours available from 8am–9am and extended afternoon hours from 4pm–5pm, in sessions offered July 6th–August 14th.
• Price: Half day weekly rate is $420 per week or $110 per drop-in day, with an early bird rate of $395 per week for registration and payment by June 1st and an additional $10 per week cash, check, or Zelle discount; full day weekly rate is $570 per week or $140 per drop-in day, with an early bird rate of $545 per week for registration by June 1st, 2025 and an additional $15 cash, check, or Zelle discount, plus optional extended hours at $20 per hour or $100 per week for each morning or afternoon block, a late pick-up fee structure after a 5-minute grace period, and a no refunds, no make-ups, and no transferable or refundable tuition policy.
Throughout the summer, athletes train with coaching staff that includes USA National Team coaches, Olympic-level coaches, and international guest coaches. Evergreen Rhythmics Academy states that it promotes rhythmic gymnastics in a fun, joyful, and friendly learning environment and that it believes rhythmic gymnastics is meant to exercise, entertain, and touch the lives of people and gymnasts. Evergreen Rhythmics is described as a WA State premier rhythmic gymnastics club and is home to elite level gymnasts, multiple national champions, and members of the 2021 USA Olympic Team, and it offers both competition and non-competition programs. The leadership and role-model team includes Lennox Hopkins Wilkins, Erika Rusak, Maria Serper, Saraswati Urgaakhad, and Myroslava Kamerzan, each with listed USA National Team memberships, elite level status, and national and international titles. The organization notes that, with support from parents, the girls call their team a family, and it offers a free trial class so students can see exactly what the class involves.
