Charisma School of Dance was founded in 1998 in Lakewood, WA by Erin Fay, who serves as the Artistic Director and Owner. The school offers classes for all styles, levels, and ages, including adults, and also sells dancewear at the studio. The school offers a free trial class.
Ms. Erin began her dance studies at eight years of age, became an assistant and substitute teacher at eleven, and by fourteen was a teacher at Suburban Dance Studio in Puyallup, where she studied with Ms. Valli Hale and Tony Gamlieli. She has studied at Tacoma City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and was a private student of Kabby Mitchell. She has also studied at Dance on Capitol Hill, Spectrum Dance Theater, Westlake Dance Center, and during spring break at Tremaine Dance Studio in Los Angeles with Joe Tremaine, Barry Lathers, and Marguerite Derricks. Ms. Erin is a national and international award-winning choreographer.
The school’s stated mission is to provide a place where an aspiring performer can build a strong foundation and realize their dreams, and to be welcoming and encouraging to dancers of every age, body style, and ability.
