Grace Gymnastics Center at the Lakewood YMCA offers recreational gymnastics classes, preschool classes, a Pre-Team program, and competitive teams. Recreational classes and preschool classes are included with the price of YMCA membership, and the Pre-Team program follows recreational classes as gymnasts learn skills for competitive gymnastics. Competitive teams hold try-outs throughout the year and compete in the Developmental program and Xcel through USA Gymnastics.

- Pre-Team program — Recreational classes lead into the Pre-Team program where gymnasts learn the skills necessary for competitive gymnastics.
- Competitive teams — Try-outs are held throughout the year. The team is a member of USA Gymnastics and competes in Developmental program and Xcel.
About the provider
Head coach Kevin Milliren leads the program. Coach Katie coaches Xcel Bronze and Silver gymnasts, Coach Linda has coached preschool up to Level 6, and Coach Carleigh is listed on the site. The program states that its goal is to teach gymnastics in a comfortable atmosphere that is enjoyable and fun while stressing progression and striving for excellence.

Do not pressure athletes into skills that the gymnast is not physically or mentally ready to perform. Try-outs are held throughout the year for competitive teams.
