VBClinics.com Volleyball Camps is led by Pat Powers, who is described as the Nation’s #1 Volleyball Skills coach and is an Olympic Gold Medalist, a collegiate All-American, and a pro beach star. Pat Powers is also the USC men’s volleyball head coach and led USC to the 1980 NCAA championship as a player, returning in 1997 to his alma mater to take on the head coach role. The camp is described as an advanced volleyball skills camp for girls and boys ages 11–18 and adults, with volleyball camps offered in 24 cities across the United States in 2026. The camp uses a process called Survivor, a Queen/King of the court game played with the rules of Over-Correction to permanently download skills into unconscious motor memory, and players are separated by how hard they hit and how well they set one hour into the clinic for safety and comfort. An end-of-first-day talk is offered to players and parents about athletic scholarships, college opportunities, and club and high school volleyball, which is described as having a value upwards of $5000, and parents are more than welcome to spend all day at the camp.
