• Ages: 4–16 years old
MCLL was formed in 1994, and MCLL celebrates its 30th anniversary. The league’s Umpire in Charge is Jason Thayer. Little League states that it strives to create an environment that is as safe as possible both on and off the field and does not tolerate any type of abuse against a minor, including sexual, physical, mental, and emotional abuse, as well as bullying, hazing, or harassment. All players, coaches, umpires, parents, and spectators are expected to show good sportsmanship and be good role models, and the league will not tolerate abuse, including bullying, hazing, harassment, intimidation, or taunting from or to players, coaches, umpires, parents, and spectators.
MCLL pays to use the facilities and utilities at Freedom Field, and volunteers operate the concession stand, scoreboard, and announcer’s booth. The league provides Wi‑fi at Freedom Field, and users are instructed to ask the Director of Team Parents for the username and password. Review of equipment guidelines is required to learn about helmets, bats, face masks, and other gear, and shelled sunflower seeds are not permitted at turf fields. Dogs are not allowed on ball fields or on school property.
For spring season baseball, practice and game locations are typically at Forest View Elementary for Tee Ball, Mill Creek Elementary for Rookies, Cedarwood Elementary for Farm, Silver Firs Elementary for Minors, Freedom Field for Majors, and Willis Tucker Park for Intermediates, Juniors, and Seniors. For spring season softball, practice and game locations are typically at Gateway Middle School for 89ers, Heatherwood Elementary for Rookies, Gateway Middle School for Minors, and Freedom Field or Martha Lake Airport Park for Majors.
Mill Creek Little League notes that Freedom Field is the league’s home field and is located at Mill Creek Sports Park. Freedom Field features a 64,000 square-foot lighted field turf field, an announcer’s booth, a scoreboard, a Snack Shack Concession Stand, a playground, and a skate park. Congratulations are noted for the Mill Creek Little League softball team for making it to the 2025 Softball Little League World Series. Congratulations are also noted for Umpire in Charge Jason Thayer, who will umpire at the Little League International Regional Tournament.
