According to the program’s mission statement, Code Ninjas Camps aim to transform a child's interest in technology into an engaging learning experience guided by a team called Code Senseis. The program states that campers gain valuable tech skills and make new friends, and describes the camps as an unforgettably fun learning experience.

Code Ninjas describes itself as the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids' coding franchise, with hundreds of locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The program highlights unique features such as themes including Robotics, Roblox, Minecraft, and YouTube, and an Outcome-Based Learning approach that sets clear learning goals and aligns activities and assessments with those goals. Its curriculum is described as being developed with creation in mind so students can express their imagination and experiment with new ideas.

The program uses a proprietary learning platform called IMPACT, which is described as being designed to give Ninjas the best learning environment possible. Within IMPACT, Ninjas follow a tailored learning track through Belts and receive live feedback on their progress. The Code Ninjas Prodigy Program offers participants the chance to interact with leaders from large technology and gaming companies and visit company headquarters; winning Ninjas have visited Microsoft’s Headquarters in Seattle, WA, including Microsoft’s Garage and teams such as Microsoft Minecraft, Microsoft MakeCode, XBOX, Bing, and AI.

Code Ninjas states that it strives to have a positive relationship with the community by providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for kids outside of school. The program also encourages students to use their coding skills to make a positive impact on the community, such as creating apps or websites to solve local problems.

Parent testimonials report that children enjoy Code Ninjas, are excited to show what they make, and leave with a smile. Parents mention that their children have coded their first game, enjoy the teachers, and like teaching coding concepts at home. One community member states they have been impressed by the impact on children’s technical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
