Enso Center Programs offers Hapkido, Tai Chi, Weapons, Yoga, Archery, Adaptive Hapkido, PaCS: Personal and Community Safety, Summer Camps, Private Lessons, and Private Group Events. Hapkido classes include kicking, hand techniques, patterns, and redirection of anothers force through circular movements leading to joint locks and throws. Tai Chi, Yoga, and Archery are also offered, along with weapons training using wooden practice weapons and self-defense classes for marginalized demographics.
Programs
- Hapkido — Classes are open to students of all ages, with some classes starting as young as age 6. · Program integrates kicking, hand techniques, patterns, and redirection of another’s force through circular movements leading to joint locks and throws.
- Tai Chi — All ages; classes are open to students of all ages. · Practicing Tai Chi improves balance, strength, energy, and mindfulness.
- Weapons — All ages; classes are open to students of all ages. · Teaches self-defense techniques with and against a variety of weapons using wooden practice weapons.
- Yoga — We welcome people of all levels and physical abilities. · Yoga is practiced for strengthening and stretching the body, increasing energy, and calming the mind.
- Archery — All ages; classes are open to students of all ages. · Archery is taught in a safe, positive and fun environment by USAA Level 2 Certified instructors.
- Adaptive Hapkido — All ages; designed for people with special needs. · Based on the core Hapkido program and tailored specifically for people with special needs.
- PaCS: Personal and Community Safety — Offers online and in-person group self-defense classes specially designed for marginalized demographics.
- Summer Camps — Kids. · Kids learn martial arts from different cultures and participate in fitness, health, self-defense, and creativity projects like origami.

About the provider
Grand Master Jason Mix is the Program Director and Head Instructor. Named instructors include Susan Mix, Bill Mix, Lucas Mix, Matthew Amaral, Chuck Daniel, Galina Lemke, Robyn Christenson, Max Livshetz, and Tim Lemke. Enso Center says it has been serving the community since 1985, and the Mix Family has been teaching martial arts since 1986. Its mission is to promote awareness, understanding and harmony internally, interpersonally, culturally, ecologically and ideologically, and to encourage strong sustainable communities through martial arts, nature, languages, literacy, communication, and fine arts. Enso Center says it has given thousands of dollars in free membership to students in need, planted over 500 trees, donated use of its facility to community events, provided free self-defense seminars to youth organizations, and donated funds to other non-profits.

Families are encouraged to train together. Adults and kids train in the same classes. Seasonal Yoga: you can attend any or all classes, register anytime, and payment will be prorated based on start date. Private lessons and private group event dates and times must be worked out based on mutually agreeable dates and times with the instructor. Age limits for all classes can be found in the FAQ.
