About the provider

Sisu Outdoor School continues a 20-year tradition of outdoor education in the Pacific Northwest and the two-decade tradition of Tiny Treks Northwest. Its mission is rooted in the Finnish concept of sisu, described as quiet courage, resilience, and heart. The program also states that it learns and plays on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Snoqualmie, Duwamish, and Sammamish peoples.

For the 2026–2027 school year, students must be 3 years old and potty trained by September 1. Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is for the full year. The first semester is billed at registration, and the second semester will be invoiced in January 2027. No-refund policy. Weather-related closures may result in make-up days scheduled at the end of the school year. Safety-related directions are shared directly with enrolled families and scheduled visitors.
