About

Michael Parker Golf Academy – Junior Programs at Tri-Mountain Golf Course offers golf lessons that include playing 9 holes, practice at a full driving range, and practice on chipping and putting greens. Participants also use a 9-hole putting course and can take part in PGA Junior League team golf in a scramble format. The program includes PGA Junior Golf Camps instruction on full swing, short game, rules, and golf etiquette.

• Ages: 6–18 years old

PGA Jr. League experiences in this program are led by expert PGA and LPGA Coaches, and every PGA Junior Golf Camp is taught by a certified PGA of America Professional. The leadership team includes Michael Parker as Director of Instruction, Brian Michaud, PGA, as General Manager, and Dan Bierscheid, GCSAA, as Superintendent. The program uses the Operation 36 Development Model, which centers around playing golf with the goal to shoot par (36) or better for 9 holes, and it offers an Op 36 Mobile App to guide practicing and playing golf outside of classes. Classes are available for juniors ages 6–18, as well as for ladies and adult/family co-ed groups. The mission of PGA Jr. League is that every child can be a golfer. Tri-Mountain is a four-star public golf facility with 11 lakes, 64 sand bunkers, and award-winning greens on a picturesque 18-hole course nestled at the base of a valley, surrounded by Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood. Michael Parker has been nominated for Teacher of The Year, Golf Professional of The Year, Player Development Award, Youth Player Development Award, PGA Professional Development Award, and the Operation 36 Top 50 Coach Award.
