Mode Music and Performing Arts is a nonprofit arts organization. Its mission is to offer innovative arts education programs promoting confidence, social awareness, equity and empathy in its students and community. The founder is Erin Rubin.

MMPA brings accessible arts education to Seattle’s kids through school enrichment programs, group classes and camps, and private lesson scholarships for instruction at Mode Music Studios. After-school enrichment programs and in-school partnerships bring the arts into schools, with free and discounted after-school classes provided for Title I schools, and MMPA partners with public schools whose arts program funding had been reduced or eliminated. In 2022, MMPA served over 350 students and provided 83 scholarships through school programs and pay-what-you-can classes and camps. Programs include a teaching and mentorship program for high school aged students and their younger peers, and Rock Band campers can sign up for an MMPA camp available during the afternoon of their Rock Band Camp week. Programs are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, and private music lesson scholarships are available. Masks in classes are optional, and students are required to stay home if they have experienced a known Covid exposure or are experiencing any Covid symptoms.
