Burke Camps offers Fossil Detectives for students in Grades 4–6 in the 2026/27 school year and Dino Trackers for students in Grades 1–3 in the 2026/27 school year. Fossil Detectives meets Monday, July 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and costs $100, with aftercare available from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for a $30 fee. Dino Trackers meets on Monday, August 10, 2026 or Monday, August 17, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and costs $100, with aftercare available from 2:30 to 4 p.m. for a $30 fee.

- Burke Boxes — Portable kits of museum-quality objects and artifacts, with activities that can be tailored to all ages and interests.
- BurkeMobile — Programs send Burke educators and collections throughout Washington state. Currently only available to visit King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties.
- Field Trips — At the Museum. Exhibits and visible labs surround students during the field trip.
- DIG Field School — K–12 teachers · Over the course of four days each summer · Professional development program for K–12 teachers.
- Voices in Science — Teen program that builds confidence in science skills under the mentorship of scientists from the Burke Museum and University of Washington.

About the provider
Burke education programs inspire learners of all ages to ask questions about the world around us. Using authentic materials and specimens, programs focus on using all of the senses to foster curiosity and create wonder. The programs emphasize the intersections of natural history and cultural heritage in Washington state and support 21st Century Skills.
- Fossil Finder Fun Packs — Treasure box of fun activities with virtual resources featuring Burke scientists and educators.
Burke Education does not make reservations or schedule visits via the contact form. Financial assistance covers 50% of the full price program fee. Camp payments are final; no refunds are offered for Burke Camps this year. Staff undergo complete UW background screening every three years and retain current CPR/First Aid certification. Any child needing accommodations should be described during registration; UW disability accommodations can be requested at least 10 days in advance.
